Note June 2021: The price of tin has doubled in the past year and is now at .86 per lb. We are trying to maintain our EBay pewter ingot prices at .00 per lb, but we may be forced to raise prices soon.
These pewter ingots are cast from scrap modern lead-free pewter composed of between 92-95% tin, 4-8% antimony, and 0.5-1% copper. All scrap pewter we melt is marked PEWTER, ZINN, PELTRO, ESTANHO, ESTANO, ETAIN, TINN or other international words for pewter. We use gas-fired large iron kettles, dross skimmers, steel molds, and bottom-pour ladles to ensure that these ingots are free of dross and other contaminants. Use these for crafts, reloading bullets, fishing lures, hobbies, or as bullion for speculation.
The dimensions of each ingot are approximately 1" x 4"x 1". Because these ingots are hand-poured, the weights are not exactly 1 lb. However, the total weight of all 10 ingots will be at least 10 lbs. Shipped USPS Priority Mail for .45. Lot 6-19-D.
