    Description

    303 stainless steel alloy is the free machining version of the 304 alloy. It offers easier machining than 304, while retaining most of the same corrosion resistance properties. The addition of sulfur gives this alloy it's free machining properties, but makes welding it much more difficult. Alloy may be slightly magnetic or become slightly magnetic after machining.
