Here’s a beautiful brand-new set of genuine Springfield Armory "U.S." walnut wood grips for 1911
pistols with "Officer's"-sized grips (i.e. NOT Government & Commander models, but those with "Officer's"-sized gun frames) .
These will not fit full-sized models or other versions whose grips aren't the same size (including grip screw hole layout) - if you're not sure, ask us and we'll help you.
These grips are laser-etched with the Springfield "U.S." logo and are supplied with many of their current 1911 pistols that are currently available, such as the "mil-spec" Officer's or "GI" line, but they'll fit others using the Officer's frame as well, including non-Springfield pistols having the same specifications and dimensions for grips.  These are brand-new and have never been handled except to photograph them.  These will fit 9mm or .45 caliber full-size 1911-frame pistols without magwells, as they are beveled on the bottom rather than being cut for a magwell.  If you need a standard set and your pistol has a magwell (magazine guide) attached to the bottom of the grip frame, see our other listings as we also have other styles.
These are not cut for an ambidextrous safety.  The grip screw holes are slightly less than 3" apart, measuring
2 11/16" (2.6875) from center-to-center of the holes.
The pictures show one set of grips, photographed to show you how these look in room light, without a camera flash.
These are for left- or right-handed shooters, as there no thumb rest on the either grip panel.
This is a great way to improve the appearance and handling of your 1911, whether a Springfield or not, whether blued, parkerized or stainless, loaded or GI/Mil-spec.
These grips vary in the color and figuring of their grain, as each piece of wood is unique; no two pairs are exactly alike.
The grips are nicely checkered to provide a firm grip, and a rich look to your pistol.
