Vintage Lot Fishing Line Hooks Flies Lead Sinkers Eagle Claw Ideal Ashaway

Description

Box from my Uncle's estate found full of fishing hooks, lines, sinkers--and flies!
Contents of lot:
(2) paper cards Genuine Eagle Claw Bait Holder Hooks, N 139, Size 8 with leaders. Cards were folded to fit into box. One card complete with 6 hooks; the other holds 2, which have a bit of rust.
(2) glassine envelopes Erwin Weller Co., Sioux City, IA, one holding 10 brass salmon egg hooks snelled with nylon. Hooks show some rust. The other envelope was found empty, but is included for collectors' interest.
Envelope of Lyon & Coulson, Inc., Buffalo, N.Y. nylon leader Strands, 44", 3X weight. Back of the envelope shows the non-Scouts among us how to tie a "True Knot".
Metal sliding box Ideal Split Shot, 1-3/4" long. 7 of original 24 BB split shot weights remain.
Two flies with hooks approximately 1-1/4-1-1/2" long. I do not know whether these are hand-tied or not.
Lead weight, 5 grams. Spiral wire on the ends. Looks like a fish to me, but I think it's called a torpedo shape.
Box was from Ashaway Nylon Flyline. Shows considerable wear, but corners are intact and two labels on the edges are in good condition. Even has the remnants of an ancient red
rubber band
used to hold it closed.
